fTC
What is FTC
FIRST Tech Challenge is a robotics program for high school students that challenges teams to design, build, and program a mid-sized robot to compete in an annual game. Students use a metal-based construction system and real-world coding tools like Java to bring their ideas to life. FTC is more than building a robot—it's about solving problems, collaborating as a team, and developing technical and leadership skills.
Who Can Join
Reboot Robotics' FTC team is open to homeschool high school students (grades 9–12), with occasional exceptions for mature 7th - 8th graders ready for advanced challenges. This program is a great fit for students who enjoy critical thinking, hands-on building, coding, and working together as a team.
Why Join FTC with
Reboot Robotics
FTC offers students the opportunity to grow in STEM while building character and confidence. It’s not just about competing—it’s about learning to persevere, communicate, and lead. Through FTC, students gain experience that prepares them for college, careers, and life. At Reboot Robotics, we also encourage students to pursue these skills with purpose and faith, using their talents for God's glory.
