What is FRC
FIRST Robotics Competition is the most advanced level of robotics offered by FIRST. Often described as “the varsity sport for the mind,” FRC challenges high school students to build large-scale industrial-style robots to compete in high-energy, high-stakes competitions. Teams work together to solve complex engineering challenges while gaining hands-on experience with professional-level tools and technologies.
Why Reboot Robotics Doesn’t Offer FRC
While we fully support the mission of FRC and recognize the incredible value it offers students, Reboot Robotics does not currently offer an FRC team. Due to the significant costs required to run an FRC program—as well as the large workspace and storage space needed for full-size robots and a build field—we are unable to accommodate this level at this time.

If your student is interested in joining an FRC team, we encourage you to learn more directly from FIRST. There are many established FRC teams across the region, and it could be a great opportunity for students ready for a large-scale robotics challenge.
