What is V5

VEX V5 is a robotics program for high school students that challenges teams to design, build, and program a metal-based robot to compete in an annual engineering game. Students use real-world coding, design, and mechanical systems to bring their ideas to life. VEX V5 is more than building a robot—it’s about solving problems, collaborating as a team, and developing technical and leadership skills along the way.

Who Can Join

Our V5 team is open to homeschool high school students. This program is a great fit for students who enjoy critical thinking, hands-on building, coding, and working together as a team.

Why Join V5 with
Reboot Robotics

V5 offers students the opportunity to grow in STEM while building character and confidence. It’s not just about competing—it’s about learning to persevere, communicate, and lead. Through V5, students gain experience that prepares them for college, careers, and life. At Reboot Robotics, we also encourage students to pursue these skills with purpose and faith, using their talents for God's glory.
