STEM Explorers Club

STEM Explorers Club is a family-friendly outreach program designed to spark curiosity through hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math experiences. Each season includes three monthly sessions, with a fall session running September–November and a spring session running February–April. Meetings are held on the second Monday of each month from 6:00–7:00 PM, and each STEM adventure encourages families to explore together by building, creating, experimenting, asking questions, and discovering how STEM connects to the world around them.

 

Rather than focusing on finding the “right” answer, our activities encourage participants to think critically, test ideas, make improvements, and learn from the process. Parents and guardians are encouraged to participate alongside their children, making every meeting a fun and memorable family experience.

Who Can Attend

STEM Explorers Club is open to families from all educational backgrounds, including homeschool, public school, private school, and virtual school students.

Activities are designed to be enjoyed by a wide range of ages, with the greatest appeal for children approximately 4–12 years old. Older and younger siblings are welcome to participate alongside their families.

Drop In

✔ $7 per participating child

✔ Attend when your schedule allows

✔ Available beginning one week before each session, as space permits.

How to Join

STEM Explorers Club Membership

  1. Register for the first session of the Fall or Spring STEM Explorers Club.

  2. Select the Club Membership ticket during registration.

  3. Pay $30 per family (cash or check) when you arrive at your first meeting.

  4. Register for each remaining club session so we know your family will be attending—there is no additional charge for club members.

Drop-In Registration

  1. Drop-In registration opens one week before each STEM Explorers Club session and is available only if space remains after Club Members have reserved their spots.

  2. Choose the monthly STEM Explorers Club session you'd like to attend.

  3. Register using the Drop-In ticket.

  4. Pay $7 per participating child (cash or check) when you arrive.

  5. Attend as often as you'd like—simply register separately for each session you plan to attend.

Build the tallest, strongest tower while learning about structural engineering and teamwork.

Explore the science of crystals while creating beautiful snowflake designs and learn about patterns and the world of chemistry.

Discover the basics of electricity and circuits while building creations and exploring how STEM brings ideas to life.

Spoon Catapults
Put engineering skills to the test by designing and building a catapult while learning about forces and motion.
