We've enjoyed a quieter month at Reboot Robotics as we prepare for the start of our new season. While our schedule was lighter this month, students still had the opportunity to participate in our monthly STEM Lab and June Beginner Coding Class, continuing to build their STEM skills through hands-on learning.
Behind the scenes, we have been preparing for the upcoming VEX season and are excited to welcome students back in July. We look forward to another year of growth, learning, and innovation as our teams begin this new chapter.

🎉 STEM Lab – Rainbow Walking Water
Date: Monday, July 13, 2026
Time: 6:00 – 7:00 PM
Cost: $5 per participant
Location: 2801 W Broadway Street, Bolivar, MO
Details: Join us for our Rainbow Walking Water STEM Lab where students will explore capillary action and color mixing through a fun, hands-on experiment. Participants will create a colorful "walking water" display and observe how water moves between cups, mixing colors along the way. This activity introduces students to basic chemistry and the science behind how water travels through different materials. Space is limited, so registration is required. 🚀 Competitive Team Season Kickoff
Date: Monday, July 20, 2026
Time: Varies by Team
Location: 2801 W Broadway Street, Bolivar, MO
Details: Our 2026/2027 competitive robotics season officially begins! Students will meet their teams, review season expectations, and begin preparing for an exciting year of robotics, engineering, and teamwork. As we begin our first season competing in VEX Robotics, students will start learning new systems, exploring this year’s challenges, and building the skills needed for a successful season. We can’t wait to welcome our returning and new team members as we kick off another year of hands-on STEM learning!

Date: Every 3rd Tuesday of the Month
Time: All Day
Location: Bolivar Wendy’s
Don't forget our monthly partnership with Wendy’s! Every 3rd Tuesday, a portion of sales will go toward supporting Reboot Robotics. Be sure to show the flyer when you order so your purchase counts toward our fundraiser. Stop by, grab a meal, and help us fund hands-on STEM experiences and robotics programs for local students, every bite makes a difference!

As our competitive programs continue to grow, we will also need volunteers to help support future VEX competitions. Volunteers play an important role in making competitions successful, and there are many ways to get involved through official event volunteer roles that help create a positive experience for teams, students, and families.
